Cedar Creek TRI road course ride 8/16
Author Last Post
Late notice, but I'm planning on riding out to watch the tri on Sunday morning. Leaving my house with lights on at 5:00 a.m.
David is racing also. I'm sure what ever time you loose in the swim you'll make up on the bike.
If any of you are in town this weekend and are looking for some entertainment early Sunday morning, come out and cheer on Pat as he competes in the cedar Creek Triathlon. You can also laugh at me as I try not to drown during the swim and have to walk the run. I was let off the hook from working the event, so I signed up to race it. I haven't been swimming for almost a year, and the last time I ran was a mile in early June. Should be interesting. At least Pat has a shot.

I come up Lone Elm and should be at Lone Elm/College at 6:45. I can get there a bit earlier if needed.
Pat, I may be able to join you for some loops around the course. What time do you expect to be at Cedar Creek? I would come in from the North, so I could either meet you at the transition area or on College somewhere.

I'm 45-50 minutes to get to Olathe Northwest High school at College and Lone Elm.

I am tentatively planning to ride the RUSA 110k on Saturday (assuming its not raining too hard).

I am thinking we should get as many team members as possible to join Pat at the Cedar Creek triathlon on September 7.... and I am not buying any flimsy excuses about guys that don't like to put their face in the water.

Let's join Pat and do the last tri before cyclocross season!
I'll be going out again this Saturday 8/16 at 6:15am. Riding from South/East Olathe to Cedar Creek, ride the full Tri road course and then back to the South/East. Approximately 32 miles, around a 16 mph speed average.
If anyone is interested in joining in part way or the whole route let me know.

Pat
