This ride was formerly know as "Bike 2 Boulevardia." It is a charitable gravel fondo supporting Cancer Action.  The ride starts and finishes at Somerset Ridge Vineyard & Winery in Paola, KS.  The routes will take you through scenic hills of northeaster Kansas. Yup, there ARE hills in Kansas and you are going to like a few of these.  This isn't a typical leisurely ride, but is a timed fondo that has a route for everyone from the "gravel curious" to the serious racer.  There are three courses mapped out: 20, 40, and 60 miles.  All routes offer scenic views of rural Paola, KS and are designed to be fun and safe.

The fondo starts on Saturday, April 18th, 2026 at Somerset Ridge Vineyard & Winery, 29725 Somerset Rd, Paola, KS 66071.

Bike Across Kansas 2026

Biking Across Kansas (BAK) is an annual, eight-day, bicycle tour across the state of Kansas. We promote health and wellness through bicycling, the history and beauty of the Kansas landscape, and the warm hospitality of the Kansas towns and people.

BAK 2026 is a recreational and social rally for cyclists. It is not an endurance contest, a race, or a test of stamina. Each rider should set a pace agreeable to their own degree of expertise. Capable riders of all ages are welcome.

Biking Across Kansas 2026 officially begins at the Colorado/Kansas state line west of Johnson City on June 6, 2026. The tour finishes at the Kansas/Missouri line near Pittsburgh on June 13. Overnight towns are: Johnson City, Montezuma, Ashland, Medicine Lodge, Conway Springs, Burden, Independence, and Baxter Springs. Total mileage approximately 550.

Tour de Bier returns for 2026

This is a yearly bicycle tour of Kansas City's breweries, supporting Head for the Cure in the fight against Brain Cancer.  Funds raised through this year's event will locally benefit Solace house, Path to Hope, and other national brain cancer programs, education and initiatives.

The tour typically is in late June at Liberty Memorial Park, 30 W. Pershing Road, KCMO. This is a leisurely, and I mean leisurely, non-timed bike ride through urban Kansas City.  This year, riders can choose between a 15, 30 and 50-mile ride feature stops at local breweries.  Riders can sample beer at each stop as a bonus caloric intake!  Last year's event was a washout but that didn't stop cyclist from enjoying beer joint SAGs and still log in the miles.  There typically is a party after the ride where you can enjoy some more cold ones, chill out with your fellow riders and swap stories about the ride.

Registration is currently open

You can register as an individual or as a team.
Right now, early registration is $50 per individual which includes a commemorative t-shirt, lunch, two drink tickets for the after-party, and samples of Kansas City's best breweries.
